The Warren County Chapter (#212) of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club got its start when Dan Jackson, a member of the Southwest Alabama Chapter in Mobile, AL, transferred to Vicksburg, MS. Not finding a local chapter to join, it was suggested by the State Officer that a new chapter be formed. The Warren County Chapter opened in 2003 with Dan Jackson as the First Officer and Angela Jackson as the Chapter Secretary. The first chapter meeting was held at Dan and Angela’s house with 3 members in attendance. The first chapter ride had 14 bikes show up with 3 coming from the North Delta chapter in Louisiana. The ride took the chapter down the Natchez trace to Natchez for lunch and back roads home. Since that time, Doug Kamien, also the first member of the chapter, became our Road Captain and Jeff Covington stepped up as the our Eagle Rescue Coordinator in 2005. Also in 2005, Jim Dolan was appointed Second Officer.
In 2006, Dan Jackson was appointed State Officer of Mississippi and Jim Dolan became the chapter’s new First Officer. In 2007 Baron Kleinhans was named as the chapter's 2nd Officer.
Chapter 212 now has 90+ members and continues its devotion to safe riding and is a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The Chapter patch was designed in 2005 by member Jim Balsara.
The Warren County chapter organized and hosted Mississippi’s first Southern Cruisers State Rally in 2005, the Second State Rally in 2006 and the Fifth State Rally in 2009. All proceeds from these rallies were donated to St. Jude.
